Resolver
A resolver is a type of rotary electrical transformer used for measuring degrees of rotation, delivering an analog signal that can be used as a feedback for motion control. EMCL allows to close the position loop through the inputs of an analog resolver.
If the pole pairs of the resolver are not submultiples of the motor pole pairs the device needs to do phasing at every start-up (after determining polarity).
