CANopen

CANopen is a communication protocol and device profile specification for embedded systems used in automation. In terms of the OSI model, CANopen implements the layers above and including the network layer.

Using this option MotionLab3 will establish communication with the slave using CANopen protocol. Please, notice that you will need a CAN device properly connected and installed in your PC. When using CANopen communications, Tune, Monitoring, and Identification tools are not available. 

Important

Keep in mind some CAN device manufacturers need specific drivers to work with MotionLab.
