This register allows setting the dynamic brake mode. This option applies when the power stage is disabled (all the drive states). The state of the PWM phases will depend on the selected configuration.
The values that this register can take are:
Option | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
0 | Dynamic brake enabled | All phases are configured high-impedance state (freewheeling) |
1 | Dynamic brake disabled | When the power stage is disabled, all the phases are shunted to ground |
This behavior is only applied while the drive is configured with a brushless motor.
