Unhandled exception in script when starting MotionLab3

Problem

I can’t start MotionLab 3 after updating its version. I receive an error message instead.

Known errors that can be shown:

Solution

1. Uninstall MotionLab3.

2. Go to your installation path (commonly in C:\Program Files (x86)\MotionLab3).

3. Make a backup of dictionaries folder. This folder is placed in (...\MotionLab3\resources\dictionaries).

4. Manually delete the MotionLab3 folder.

5. Install MotionLab3 again.

6. Add the dictionaries from the backup that you made at step 3 into the folder (...\MotionLab3\resources\dictionaries) of the new installation.

7. Now you can successfully use MotionLab3.
