"No movement detected" during Encoder test
Issue: In MotionLab3, when carrying out the Encoder test regardless of the type of encoder (Digital Halls, Absolute encoder, Incremental Encoder), the following issue occurs:

Possible reasons and solutions:
- Incorrect wiring. Please double check that the pins are not swapped. 
- Wrong number of motor pole pairs configured. Please go back to Motor → General and check that the correct number of motor pole pairs is entered. Note that the register asks for pole pairs and not total number of poles. 
- Encoder configuration. Please check that the encoder register configuration is correct. Please use the advise here: Feedbacks. 
- Drive firmware. Please make sure you are using the most up to date firmware. You can download it in the respective Downloads section of the selected drive here: Drives (novantamotion.com)
