The target position is the position where the motor has to move in profile position and cyclic sync position modes.

The movement is performed using current movement parameters (velocity, acceleration, deceleration, profile type, etc.) when using Network as command source.

Command source

When using different command source, the internal Target Position could be monitorized by using Internal target value cmd source register.

The target position will be interpreted as absolute or relative; depending on the controlword's abs/rel flag (see Controlword in profile position mode).
