Safety Functions

This section is only available on Safe drives with editable process image and CoE communication.

This step is used to select and map the safety functions that your drive will use.

All available safety functions are listed on this page, and the user can select the number of instances they want to map. After making a selection, the “Show Proposed Configuration” button can be pressed, and the proposed process image will be shown in a pop-up.

The user can modify the proposed process image and choose whether to apply it.

FSoE should be stopped to modify the process image, otherwise, the button won’t be available:
