Maximum allowed power. Together with Peak power time, defines the allowed energy budget above Power limit. Once the energy is consumed, the drive reduces the current ceiling to bring power back down to Power limit.

The energy budget is calculated with the following expression:

Peak limit cannot be lower than the continuous power limit. If the user attempts to write a lower value, the peak limit is automatically set to the continuous limit silently.
