This register allows to read or write the selected memory address. SDO Read and Write operations directly load or store from/to the NVM memory.
* The values are stored in NVM, but not through the usual Store procedure.
Memory organization:
Address | Memory data |
|---|---|
-1 | Invalid area |
0 | 1st 32 bit data word |
1 | 2nd 32 bit data word |
2 | 3rd 32 bit data word |
*** | *** |
255 | 256th 32 bit data word |
Address -1 is the default and it has been created to avoid issues during drive initialization so the address 0 is not overwritten.
Massive writes to this register can reduce the effective lifetime of the non-volatile memory. This feature is not available in Everest drives.
